If you have a child or are traveling with one who loves playing dress-up, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a must.
The magical boutique gives young guests the chance to transform into some of their favorite Disney characters. It’s an unforgettable memory (and souvenir).

WHAT IS BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE?
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an Enchanting Extra that anyone can do, as long as they book a reservation (more on the reservation process below).
At this popular salon, “Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices” use kid-friendly products to transform children into Disney royalty. It’s like playing dress-up — but at Disney World (and for a price)!
Guests have several styles to choose from, as well as different package levels to consider (keep reading for further package information).
Here are some important details to note:
Guests wishing to be transformed at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique must be between the ages of 3 and 12. They also must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older).
Children should arrive with clean and brushed hair and be free of any scalp or skin conditions that may impact or interrupt the experience.
The appointments themselves can take up to 90 minutes, but typically last between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Plan accordingly, especially when scheduling any Lightning Lane selections or dining reservations.
Each child may be accompanied by up to 2 guests.
You can bring/wear your own costume if you don’t want to purchase a package that includes clothes.
You can also store outfits before your appointment. There are lockers
WHERE IS BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE LOCATED?
There is just one open Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location at Disney World: in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.available in all 4 parks.
The experiences offered at Disney Springs and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have not reopened since the pandemic. We’re far enough away from that we don’t anticipate them reopening, unfortunately.
If you are embarking on a Land/Sea trip, each Disney Cruise Line ship also has a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard with a very similar experience to the one at Magic Kingdom.
MAGIC KINGDOM
Magic Kingdom’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is popular.
When you first arrive, you check in at the boutique behind Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland.
Then, you’ll wait for your name to be called, where you’ll then be escorted inside Cinderella Castle where the actual royal transformation takes place.

The cost of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique depends on the package you book and if you add on other “Extra Enchantments”.
At this time, there aren’t any discounts available to both Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

HOW DO YOU MAKE A BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE RESERVATION?
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is one of the most popular experiences at Disney World. So much so, reservations are extremely hard to get.
So, when it comes to make one, you need to make sure you try to book the experience as soon as you’re eligible to do so.
Just like with dining and other experiences, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be booked up to 60 days in advance.

Magic Kingdom’s location is open and reservations are now available to book online.
A valid credit card number is required at time of booking. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to credit cards for all no-shows or if a reservation is canceled within 24 hours of scheduled time. Your credit card will not be charged before your visit.
IS DISNEY PHOTOPASS INCLUDED WITH BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE PACKAGES?
During the transformation process, a Disney PhotoPass photographer will take candid photos of the experience.
But, unless you have Memory Maker, Memory Maker Day One, or a PhotoPass entitlement with your Annual Pass, you will have to pay to download or print the photos as a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique guest or as a regular park visitor.
DO CHARACTERS MEET AT BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE?
Beginning in October, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother will be making occasional appearances to check in on her apprentices.
Nearby, guests can meet with princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall. Or, book a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table for another opportunity to interact with the princesses.

KEEP THE FOLLOWING IN MIND WHEN IT COMES TO BOOKING BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE
- Do you have any special princess meals or meet-and-greets planned? If so, maybe think about scheduling your appointment on a day that coordinates with that.
- Will your family be doing a lot of swimming? If so, maybe aim to make the appointment towards the end of your trip so you can keep the hairstyle up for longer.
- Will you be celebrating anything special like a birthday? That may make a good day for your appointment.
- Are you going during a busy time of the year? Appointment options may be limited so you may just have to snag whatever you can find.
OTHER IMPORTANT BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOUTIQUE TIPS
- Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices say hairstyles will last up to 72 hours. Prepare yourself because some of the hairstyles, specifically the tight buns, are very tight and can get itchy.
- Bring your own costume and accessories from home to save money, so you don’t have to purchase a more expensive package.
- Book early and plan accordingly, since appointments fill up quickly and then plan your day around it.
- Allow extra time in case your or someone else’s appointment runs behind. Even though appointments are said to take anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour, it’s best to budget at least 2 hours.
- Bring cash to tip your Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice.
- Make sure to take your own photos if you don’t want to pay to print or download your own photos. Plus, PhotoPass photographers may miss certain moments.
